BLESSED de Meg Stuart recebe o Prémio Francês da Crítica para "melhor espectáculo estrangeiro".
Damaged Goods & EIRA têm o prazer de anunciar a atribuição no próximo dia 18 Junho em Paris, do prestigioso Prémio Francês da Crítica para "melhor espectáculo estrangeiro" a Meg Stuart. Este prémio é atribuído para a criação de BLESSED, uma criação de Meg Stuart com interpretação de Francisco Camacho e Kotomi Nishiwaki e produção de Damaged Goods & EIRA, que teve a sua estreia em Março de 2007 no Kunstencentrum Vooruit em Ghent.
O “Prix du meilleur spectacle étranger” é uma iniciativa do Syndicat professionnel de la Critique de Théâtre, Musique et Danse. Esta organização, fundada em 1877, reúne 140 jornalistas de França e de outros países. Anualmente são laureados artistas das áreas do teatro, dança e música, que se destacaram de forma extraordinária, com o seu trabalho na temporada anterior.
O jurí da categoria de dança atribuiu 5 prémios, dos quais se inclui um prémio especial do júri para um prémio Gérard Violette, o director artístico do Théâtre de la Ville de Paris em final de funções.
O "Prix du meilleur spectacle étranger" foi já atribuído em edições anteriores ao trabalho de William Forsythe , Jan Lauwers, entre outros.
Meg Stuart’s BLESSED receives the French Prize of Criticism for ‘best foreign performance’.
Damaged Goods & EIRA are pleased to announce you that upcoming Wednesday June 18, Meg Stuart will receive the prestigious French Prize of Criticism for 'best foreign performance' in Paris. The prize is awarded for her creation BLESSED, performed by Francisco Camacho and Kotomi Nishiwaki, a production by Damaged Goods & EIRA, which had its premiere in March 2007 at Kunstencentrum Vooruit in Ghent.
The “Prix du meilleur spectacle étranger » is an initiative of the Syndicat professionnel de la Critique de Théâtre, Musique et Danse. This organisation unites 140 journalists from France and abroad and was founded in 1877. Each year it honours artists working in theatre, dance and music, who have marked in the past season the landscape in an extraordinary way with their work.
The jury of the category dance awards 5 prizes, of which one is also a special jury prize for Gérard Violette, the departing artistic director of Théâtre de la Ville in Paris.
The "Prix du meilleur spectacle étranger" has been granted before to works of a.o. William Forsythe and Jan Lauwers.
